臺灣産北蕉有效根系分佈狀況之研究
Studies on the Distribution of Functional Root System of Musa sapientum L. in Taiwan
摘要
利用放射性磷^32注入香蕉假莖方法，探測兩不同地區各不同生長階段之北蕉有效根群分佈狀況，作爲有效施肥之依據。試驗結果，認爲該等香蕉之根群多均勻分佈於條件較優之表土，而無密集於某一區域之現象。

Radioactive 32P solution was injected into the pseudostem of banana to investigate the functional root distribution of Musa sapientum at different stages and growing in different areas. The study was to establish an effective fertilizer placement. The experiments were conducted at a flat grove near Pin-tung and at a terraced slope grove near Tai-chung. Based upon the radioactivity of the soil samples taken from various positions encircling a pseudostem as that there is no concentrative root system around a pseudostem. Most of the ramifying roots are evenly distributing about the top soil of advantageous condition. According to these findings recommendation for effective fertilization under different conditions are tentatively put forward.
