摘要

爲明瞭荔枝授粉結果情形及如何產生不發育種子，以三品種在臺中作授粉初步試驗，分自花授粉，他花授粉，套袋不授粉，不套袋不授粉及不套袋授粉等處理，結果因每種供試花數過多，套袋時期過長，各處理雖皆有結果，但有套袋者落果甚多，影響授粉處理之差別不見明顯，無套袋者則發育正常，無套袋而又行人工授粉者，結果更佳，顯示授粉有增加荔枝結果之確效。至於種子之發育，則似隨授粉之程度而增加，授粉不全者，多生焦核。花粉發芽力供試三品種以黑葉種最高，頗與各品種之產量有正相關之現象。

In order to study the effect of pollination upon fruit-bearing and the occurance of underdeveloped seeds of Litchi, preliminary trials were made in Taichung Taiwan, 1972.
Three varieties were used, one as fruit-bearing variety, the other two as pollination varieties. Results showed that pollination increased fruit bearing, and the degree of seed development depended on the completeness of pollination, underdeveloped seeds resulted from incomplete pollination.
Pollen germination ability varied among varieties and was positively correlated to fruit yield.
