大蒜種球之休眠期長短及打破休眠方法

摘要


大蒜種球採收後有休眠現象,其休眠期長短除與品種有關係外,與發芽溫度關係甚大;在室溫(24-31℃)時,休眠甚長,發芽遲緩時,溫度提高到35℃時不易發芽,溫度降至20℃時則有促進發芽之功效。低溫貯藏大蒜種球或刻傷蒜瓣等處理有打破休眠這效果,其效果對印尼早生品種較爲顯著,對鳳山選一號及二號品種效果較少。幹燥之蒜球,先用5℃低溫貯藏三週,然後在20℃之溫度下發芽,打破休眠之效果最好,發芽情形最佳。

An investigation was made on the rest ad dormancy period of garlic bulbs at 20℃, room temperature (24~31℃) and 35℃ The results showed that rest and dormancy period was little related with the cultivar tested it was influenced by sprouting temperatures i. e, level of rest was lowest at 20℃ while emergence was slower or the period of rest was longer at room temperature, and sprouting was inhibited at 35℃. Several methods including chemical immerse, chilling and wounding on the garlic bulbs were used for breaking in dormancy 5℃ low temperature storage of bulbs for 2 to 3 weeks and followed by wounding treatment on the cloves showed effectiveness on breaking dormancy. but the effectiveness depends on the cultivars of garlic i. e. the sprout emergence of ”Indonesian Early” was most promoted by those treatments while of ”Fengshan select No. 1” and ”Fengshan select No. 2” were only little promoted.
