蘭陽地區綱紋洋香瓜採收成熟度之研究

Studies on the Maturity Indices of Muskmelon in I-Lan Area

摘要


本研究之目的在於建立各種綱紋洋香瓜品質指標,以訂定蘭陽地區秋香綱紋洋香瓜最適之採收成熟度及簡易之判定方法。結果顯示,當秋香洋香瓜果皮由白綠色完全轉爲黃色時,果肉呈黃紅色,果重達二點五公斤左右、果肉內可溶性固形物含量約10%、果肉己軟化但未呈糜爛狀、且果蒂處離層尚未發展完成,是謂秋香洋香瓜最適之採收成熟度。然而,此一最佳品質於兩日內因果蒂處離層之形成而降低。故需在二日內採收完畢,以防止品質下降。

Experiments were conducted to establish the quality indices of muskmelon for the judgment of harvest maturity in I-Lan area, Taiwan. At the moment of external color of muskmelon changed from white to yellow, the fruit with orange-red internal color, 2.5 kilogram weight, 10% soluble solids, soft but mushy texture, and not well-developed abscission layer, which was the right maturity to obtain the best quality of muskmelon. However, the quality only extended shorter than two days.
