種子滲調處理於菠菜生產栽培之應用

Application of the Seed Priming Treatments in Spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.) Production

摘要


試驗之滲調處理條件中溫度、天數對菠菜種子之發芽率及達到50%最終發芽率所需天數(GT50)均有顯著影響,在相同溫度條件下不同滲透潛勢的PEG滲調液 處理對發芽率無顯著影響但對GT50有顯著性影響,其中以滲調處理溫度10℃、滲調液滲透潛勢-0.8MPa、處理天數四天所得之種子發芽率最高且GT50最短,供試三品種均有相同趨勢。將菠菜種子以篩選之最佳滲調處理條件經大量處理並回乾後,種子在30℃的溫度下其發芽率較對照組提高51%,GT50縮短1.2天,且該批種子在西螺田區播種後之萌芽情形亦較對照組快速、整齊,播種後45天收穫量每0.1公頃達1213.4Kg顯著高於對照組的933.1Kg。

Priming temperature and duration had significant effect on both final germination percentage and time to 50% germination (GT50) of spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.) seeds, but different osmotic potentials of priming solutions, had significant effect only GT50 not on final germination percentage. Seeds primed in polyethylene glycol (PEG) solutions of-0.8Mpa osmotic potential for 4 days at 10℃ obtained maximum germination percentage and reduced time-spread of germination for all three cultivars tested. The germination percentage of primed and air-dried seeds at 30℃ increased by 51% and reduced GT50 by 1.2 days as compared to control in laboratory experiments. In the field, primed seeds exhibited a faster rate of emergence than those not primed. The yield spinach from primed seed was higher than control, being 1213 vs. 933Kg/0.1ha at 45 days of planting at Shilo area.
