水稻休眠性種子活力快速檢測之研究

Development of a Rapid Technique for Overcoming Dormancy of Rice Seeds

摘要


由於水稻種子的休眠特性使發芽率的測定作業無法於短期內完成。國際種子檢查規則所推介之傳統方法(對照組),並不能有效的打破休眠。利用傳統方怯檢測具有休眠性之水稻品種,需要在室溫下至少放置二週(秈稻)或四週(梗稻),再經檢測流程14天後才得以測得種子之真正活力。此研究以人工或機器收穫與乾燥處理的不同品種水稻種子,各以四種方法試驗其打破休眠能力。研究之結果顯示對所有品種而言,以去殼浸水24小時在20-30℃變溫下處理,均能在短期即快速且有效打破其休眠性,並於七天內檢測出種子之發芽率,而收穫與乾燥技術對打破休眠的影響性能則不顯著。

Dormancy becomes a problem for the determination of germination percentage within the limited period for specific varieties of rice. The standard procedures from Handbooks of seeds analysis for breaking dormancy were found to be ineffective. In this study, different cultivars of rice seeds harvested by combine or hands were treated by four different methods to investigate the effectiveness of overcoming dormancy. The results indicated that the hulls removed technique was a rapid method to overcome the dormancy characteristics for different varieties. The harvested techniques did not show the significantly difference for comparison.
