以永久樣區兩次重覆調查資料分析臺灣杉人工林林分及徑級生長性狀值之變化

Analysis of the growth characteristics of stands and diameter classes for Taiwania (Taiwania cryptomerioides) plantations based on two repeated survey data of permanent sample plots

摘要


本研究之目的在於分析大尺度範圍之臺灣杉(Taiwania cryptomerioides)人工林的生長性狀值在林分及直徑級之變化,本研究共計採用32個分布於全臺各地之臺灣杉人工林永久樣區做為研究資料來源,每個樣區均具有兩次重覆調查資料,採用第一次各樣區調查的資料依樣木胸徑大小均分為四種徑級(胸徑級I、II、III和IV),以變異數分析及最小顯著差異法分析不同直徑級之胸徑生長、樹高生長、林分材積生長(及其生長率)及林分存活株數變化量(及其變化率),所得之結果顯示胸徑生長、林分材積生長、林分存活株數變化量(及其變化率)在直徑級間具有顯著性的差異,其中胸徑生長量及林分材積生長量隨著直徑級的增加而呈現遞增的趨勢,但林分存活株數變化量及其變化率則隨著直徑級的增加而呈現遞減的趨勢,亦即在兩次調查期間大徑木有較高的胸徑生長量及林分材積生長量,但在存活株數的變化量卻較少(即具較低的枯死量)。

The purpose of this study was to analysis the growth characteristics of stands and diameter classes for Taiwania (Taiwania cryptomerioides) plantations in a large-scale areas. A total of 32 permanent sample plots of Taiwania plantations distributed around whole Taiwan with two repeated measurements were obtained. According to the first survey data, the four diameter at breast height (DBH) classes, namely DBH classes I, II, III and IV, were equally classified based on tree sizes from small to large for each plot. The DBH growth, tree height growth, stand volume growth (and its rate) and the change of number of survival trees (and its rate) were compared among DBH classes using the analysis of variance and least significant difference method. The results exhibited that the DBH growth, stand volume growth, the change of number of survival trees (and its rate) were significantly different among DBH classes. The DBH growth and stand volume growth increased with DBH class increasing; whereas, the change of number of survival trees and its rate decreased with DBH class increasing. It implicated that larger trees had higher DBH growth and stand volume growth, while lesser change of number of survival trees between the two survey periods.
