蘆葦日仁介殼蟲於不同時間與地點之子代數差異

The Variation of Offspring Number on Nipponaclerda Biwakoensis Kuwana (Hemiptera: Aclerdidae) at Different Months and Regions

摘要


蘆葦日仁介殼蟲(Nipponaclerda biwakoensis Kuwana)為半翅目、仁介殼蟲科,主要寄生於亞洲地區(中國、日本、台灣)海岸線的蘆葦上。然而,蘆葦日仁介殼蟲在2016年時入侵美國,造成美國密西西比沿岸的蘆葦大量死亡並且造成海岸線倒退。目前有關此蘆葦日仁介殼蟲之生活史及相關生態資料之了解並不多。本實驗在2020年七月到九月進行台灣西部沿岸調查,分為中部(台中清水、彰化伸港)與南部(雲林麥寮)一共三個地點,利用穿越線調查法進行採樣,秤量介殼蟲雌蟲重量以及計算雌蟲所產下之若蟲數量。實驗結果顯示:以不同區域來看,中部與南部的雌蟲所產的若蟲數量呈現顯著差異。以不同月份來看,七月若蟲數量平均有555.8隻,八月若蟲數量平均有439.8隻,九月若蟲數量平均有366.2隻,七月與八、九月之間具有顯著差異。根據九月的雌蟲重量與若蟲數量數據結果可以發現,雌蟲重量與若蟲數量之數量間呈現正相關(R^2 =0.3667)。以上的結果提供了有關蘆葦日仁介殼蟲子代的背景資料,有助於未來蘆葦日仁介殼蟲的相關研究。

Nipponaclerda biwakoensis Kuwana is classified as Hemiptera, Aclerdidae. It parasitizes in the leaf sheaths of reeds growing along the coastline of Asia (China, Japan, Taiwan). Nevertheless, the invasive species was found stretching along the coastline of Mississippi in the United States in 2016, resulting in a great number of deaths of reeds and shore recession. The general information about its life history and ecology is limited. A cross-line survey method was used in three study sites on the western coast of Taiwan, including two locations in the central of Taiwan (Qingshui, Taichung; Shengang, Changhua) and one in southern Taiwan (Mailiao, Yunlin) from July to September in 2020. The weight of female adults and its offspring were counted. The results showed that the number of offspring produced by female adult between the central Taiwan and southern Taiwan have significant difference. In different months, there are an average of 555.8, 439.8, and 366.2 offspring in July, August, and September, respectively. As the result shows, there is a significant difference between July and the rest of the two months. According to the results of the weight of adult female and the number of offspring in September, we can discover that the weight of female adult is positively correlated (R^2=0.3667) with the number of offspring. The above results provide background information about the offspring of Nipponaclerda biwakoensis Kuwana, and will help future researches on Nipponaclerda biwakoensis Kuwana.
