Group Refractive Index Equation for Whistler Mode Propagation through Drifting Magnetoplasma

The paper deals with the study of propagation of waves in whistler mode through a drifting magnetoplasma. An expression for the group refractive index for such a propagation has been derived and calculations have been made for a certain electron density model. It is shown that for large values of Z, the group refractive index becomes independent of magnetic field.
