Convection Effect on Diffusion of the Dilute Macromolecular Solution

We studied the convection effect of the solvent velocity fluctuation on the diffusion of the dilute macromolecular solution. It is found that the convection leads to a renormalization of the bare diffusion constant, and contributes to concentration dependent correction to the diffusion constant. It is then suggested that the convection effect should not be excluded from the diffusion theory of the dilute macromolecular solution.
