We reexamine the problem concerning quantum corrections to the soliton mass in a two-dimensional supersymmetric theory, and pay particular attention to the boundary conditions on the fermions when the system is put in a finite box. We check some consequences of a few common choices of the boundary conditions, as to whether the soliton mass becomes finite after corrections; whether the supersymmetry is preserved in the soliton sector, and whether the fermion-soliton scattering remains reflectionless in the box.
