A brief overview of the new superconducting phenomena found in the last ten years in compounds of rare-earth and actinide elements with partially f-electron shells has been presented. The interplay between magnetism and superconductivity is discussed. In addition to the heavy-fermion superconductor which has been studied intensively, itinerant ferromagnetic superconductivity involving 3d-transition metals is also discussed.
