Present and New Cyclotron Facilities and Atomic Physics at RCNP

A K = 400 ring cyclotron facility which is under construction at RCNP, Osaka University is described. This new facility as well as the present AVF cycltron facility are promoted and operated by the nuclear physics commtinity in Japan. The facilities are also available for the studies of interdisciplinary research. As an example, atomic collision studies using' the present AVF cyclotron facility are briefly described.
