Based on the newly obtained generalized spheroidal wave functions for a hydrogenic system in half space, the Killingbeck method is applied to obtain the eigensolutions of the system. An extrapolation procedure is included to systematically extend the numerical calculations from small to large system-centre–surface separation d for each eigenstate. It is shown that the numerical calculations are stable and converge quickly.
