Capacitors Based on Conducting Polyaniline Films

並列摘要

In the present work, the design and possible construction of capacitors based on conducting polyaniline films has been investigated experimentally. For this purpose, polyaniline was prepared in powdered form by the chemical method of oxidative polymerization, from which thin films were obtained by solvent evaporation using N-methyl pyrrolidinone. The polyaniline films were doped with 1.2 NHCl. A number of rectangular films having a thickness of 30 ¹m and an area of 3 cm2 were prepared. By sandwiching the dielectric materials, such as paraffined paper with these layers, a number of capacitors were prepared and their different parameters, as well as their stability under both atmospheric and vacuum conditions were investigated. The experimental results show that, by increasing the temperature, the capacitance can be increased and the Q-factor is decreased. Theoretical studies based on the permeation rate of dopant in the layers and parallel plate capacitor concepts were also explored.
