The Knight-shift and susceptibility of liquid non-transition and transition metals at their melting temperature obtained by using a recently proposed model potential are reported. The parameters of the potential are determined through the standard zero pressure technique. The exchange and correlation effect due to Taylor has been incorporated. The structure factor derived via the charged hard sphere approximation has been used. The beauty of this approximation is that it has the potential to describe this factor, so it gives a better explanation of the structure factor than other such approximations. A good agreement between theoretical investigations and experimental findings shows the strength and capability of the potential.
