Two-Dimensional Character in the Reversible Magnetization of Tl2Ba2CaCu2O8+δ Single Crystals

Fluctuation-induced magnetization of Tl2Ba2CaCu2O8+δ single crystal with Tc ≈ 105 K was studied near the critical region around Tc(H) based on the scaling formula. The analysis showed that this compound exhibits two-dimensional (2D) characters, which is very reasonable, considering quasi-2D nature of its crystal structure. The estimated dHc2(║c)/dT│Tc was consistent with the reported value, which was obtained from Hao-Clem analysis.
