A Study of the Schrödinger Equation with the Linear Potential by the Asymptotic Iteration Method in 3D

In this paper the asymptotic iteration method is used to study the Schrödinger equation for the linear potential in 3-dimensions. We have obtained a perturbation expansion in terms of energy functions, and by using these expansions we have calculated the energy eigenvalues. We have also given the results of the direct application of the asymptotic iteration method. The obtained eigenvalues are compared with exact ones.
