The excitation functions for nine radioactive evaporation residues produced in the inter-actions of 16O with 74Ge have been measured using an activation technique in the energy range 60-112 MeV. The experimentally measured excitation functions were analyzed using a statistical model based Monte-Carlo simulation code PACE-2. The analysis indicates the presence of contributions from incomplete fusion processes in some α-emission channels following the breakup of the projectile 16O in the nuclear field of the target nucleus 74Ge.
