Transport of Two Interacting Overdamped Brownian Particles Driven by a Time-Delayed Feedback

並列摘要

The transport of the two overdamped Brownian particles interacting with each other via a Morse potential is investigated in an asymmetric periodic potential. In the present work, an ac driving force and a time-delayed feedback are applied at the right end of the first Brownian particle. Using Brownian dynamics simulations, we obtain the centroid velocity of the two particles as a function of the well depth of the Morse potential. It is found that the transport of the centroid is affected by the driving frequency and delay time. For different driving frequencies and values of the delay time, there exists an optimal value of well depth at which the centroid velocity takes its maximum.
