摘要
本研究針對南投縣水里鄉水里溪上游支流，銃櫃溪集水區之森林植群進行調查分析，探討其組成結構及推估其演替方向。研究區總面積約144ha，天然林約62ha，共設置29個樣區，記錄5項環境因子。植相調查記錄有蕨類植物20科67種、裸子植物3科4種、雙子葉植物80科311種、單子葉植物14科63種，合計117科445種維管束植物。利用雙向指標種分析法及矩陣群團分類法，以重要值指數(IVI)依優勢種將區內之植群分為4林型及2亞型，分別為：A.山香圓－大葉楠林型；B.白匏仔－山黃麻林型；C.軟毛柿林型，其下細分為：C-1.江某－青剛櫟亞型；C-2.台灣白臘樹－月橘亞型；D.台灣欒樹－山合歡林型。環境因子相關檢測，得知影響植群分佈之因子以立地之地形位置較顯著。物種豐富度指數差異極大，以夏農指數來看前三個林型之數值均高於1，處於森林發育競爭較激烈的時期；而第Ⅳ型則處於森林發育的早期。本研究區域的蕨類植物商數4.43，相較於台灣全島之4.25略高；與中西部內陸區其他地區相比則較低。

We investigated the forest vegetation analyzed their structure, and presumed their succession, at the watershed of Tonqui Stream. A total of 29 sampling plots were established in an area of 62ha with natural forest and 5 environmental factors were recorded. There were 117 families with 445 species of vascular plants recorded, including 20 families with 67 species of Pteridophyta, 3 families with 4 species of Gymnosperms, 80 families with 311 species of Dicotyledons, and 14 families with 63 species of Monocotyledons. Four forest types and two subtypes were determined by the Important Value Index (IVI) method using TWINSPAN and MCA. They were: A. Turpinia formosana-Machilus japonica var. kusanoi forest type, B. Trema orientalis-Mallotus paniculatus forest type, C. Diospyros eriantha forest type: C-1. Schefflera octophylla-Cyclobalanopsis glauca forest subtype, and C-2. Fraxinus griffithii-Murraya paniculata forest subtype, D. Koelreuteria henryi-Albizia kalkora forest type. In terms of the environmental factors, the relationship between distribution of vegetation with site and slope direction was significant. The differences in species richness among the 4 forest types were great based on the Shannon index. The value of the former 3 forest types were higher than 1, belonging to the middle period of forest development, and competition among vegetation was severe. The 4th forest type was in the early development stage. The Ptph-Q value in this area was 4.43, higher than that of the island as a whole (4.25), but lower than some other areas in the interior mid-west Taiwan.
