低密度林分杉木樹冠特性之研究

Crown Characteristics of China-Fir (Cunninghamia Lanceolata) in Low Stand Density

摘要


本文旨在探討低林分密度杉木之樹冠特性,樣木取樣自八仙山事業區第111林班之杉木人工林,取樣方法採用分層取樣方式,全林依直徑區分為五個直徑級,每個直徑級取樣木3~4株,共計樣木16株。應用相關分析、Richards模式分別探討樹冠特性、樹冠發展。所得結果如下:(1)樹高、枝下高、樹冠長、形狀比及樹冠寬和胸徑間具有顯著之相關性。(2)由Richards模式所建立之樹高、枝下高、樹冠幅之發展可瞭解其他樹冠特性隨時間之變化,如樹冠長、樹冠比、枝下比及樹冠長/樹冠寬。(3)本區域林分之樹冠競爭指數為88.7%,而不同徑級樣木之樹冠面積和有效面積的比值,亦隨著徑級的增加而增加。

The purpose of this study was to discuss crown characteristics of China-fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata). Sample trees were selecteded from the plantation at compartment no.111 of Pa-Hsien-Sha working circle. We used stratified sampling based on diameter classes. Whole stand was divided into five classes, 3-4 trees in each diameter class. Total sample trees were 16. Correlation analysis and the Richards functions were used to explore crown characteristics and to simulate crown developments. The results showed: (1) Characteristics of tree height, living clear length, crown length, stem height to diameter ratio and crown width were significantly highly related to DBH. (2) After estimating developments of tree height, living clear length and crown width by the Richards functions, it could explore developments of other crown characteristics, such as crown length, live crown ratio, living clear length ratio and crown length/crown width. (3)The CCF of the study area was 88.7%, and the ratio of crown area and the space of validity increased with diameter class.
