南投地區承租造林地林木伐採成本之分析

摘要

本研究旨在分析南投地區國有林承租造林地的林木伐採成本及其影響因素之量化關係，進而瞭解造林之收益。實證分析顯示，伐採成本為林地至鄰近木材市場的距離、伐木材積及伐木工資水準三項變數的線性函數。此計量成本模式具有良好的解釋能力。從模式推估可見，平均伐採成本趨近於邊際伐採成本，顯示伐採作業具經濟效率。本研究亦顯示，林地具有適當的可及性和立木度，即距離木材市場40公里以內，伐採材積在200立方公尺以上，其伐採作業可有合理的收益。

The purpose of this study is to quantify the relationship of the timber logging cost of leased forestlands and its influential factors and to assess the profitability of timber logging in Nantou. The result of empirical study showed that logging cost is a linear function of the following factors: distance of forestland from timber market, volume of logged timber and level of logging wage. The quantitative cost model had a high interpretative ability. The study also indicated that forestlands with suitable conditions of accessibility and stock level, i.e., the distance from timber market less than 40 kilometers and the volume more than 200m^3, could generate a reasonable revenue from timber logging.
