台灣杜鵑與內生菌Cryptosporiopsis sp.共生形成杜鵑類菌根

摘要


台灣杜鵑為台灣原生種杜鵑科植物。本研究自台灣杜鵑根部分離出之內生菌,以其ITS1-F-5.8S-TW13序列與基因庫已知杜鵑類內生菌資料比對結果顯示,屬於Cryptosporiopsis sp.菌種,此為台灣子囊菌類皮盤菌科之新紀錄種。利用此一菌株與台灣杜鵑苗木進行純菌根合成試驗發現,菌根合成苗生長良好,且其微細構造顯示在根系結合體之根部皮層細胞具有菌絲複合體,證實此一內生菌能與台灣杜鵑共生形成典型之杜鵑類菌根。

Formosan Rhododendron (Rhododendron formosanum Hemsl) is an endemic species of Ericales in Taiwan. In this study, ericoid endophyte was isolated from roots of Formosana azalea, and its ITS1-F-5.8S-TW13 sequence was compared with known ericoid endophytes from GenBank and identified as Cryptosporiopsis sp. This study also marked the new record of endophyte of Dermateaceae, Cryptosporiopsis of Ascomycetes in Taiwan. In mycorrhizal synthesis, the inoculated Formosana azalea seedlings grew well, and the ultrastructure showed that there were hyphal complex and hyphal coils in its cortical cells. These results demonstrated that Formosan azalea could form ericoid mycorrhiza in vitro with Cryptosporiopsis sp.
