蓮華池桂竹林不同伐採強度之枯落物動態

Litterfall Dynamics in Different Felling Intensity Level Treatments of Makino Bamboos in Lienhuachih

摘要


本試驗於南投縣林業試驗所蓮華池研究中心所管轄之桂竹林(Phyllostachys makinoi)進行,共有4種不同伐採強度之處理,分別為皆伐、伐採1/2劣勢竹、伐採1/3劣勢竹及對照組,每月前往收集樣區內之枯落物,並進行分類、秤重及養分分析等工作,以瞭解桂竹林不同伐採強度之枯落物動態。結果顯示:桂竹林一年之枯落物累積量約為7 ton ha^(-1),伐採處理強度越大,處理後之枯落物累積總量明顯減少,而第二年枯落物總量不同處理間則差異不大;桂竹林之枯落物量月變化上,明顯受到桂竹發筍期之影響,於3至7月竹葉、竹枝及竹籜在各處理皆有相同的波峰,組成分以竹葉所佔的比例為高。枯落物組成分析中,除皆伐處理外,皆以竹葉所佔比例為高,約在40%以上,其次為竹籜或者是闊葉樹,而皆伐處理則以闊葉樹之48.4%為最高,其次為竹葉(24.5%)。另外在枯落物養分分析方面,各處理間之養分濃度上差異不大,但竹籜在5月(生長)之各養分元素濃度多數較1月(生長停滯)濃度為高,估計桂竹林枯落物氮養分元素在5月之輸入量為8.9~18.1 kg ha^(-1),1月則為3.6~4.9 kg ha^(-1)。

Litterfall dynamics in a makino bamboo (Phyllostachys makinoi) stand which governed by Lienhuachih Research Center of Taiwan Forestry Research Institute in Nantou county were studied. There were four different felling intensity treatments, including clear cutting, cutting 1/2 inferior culms, cutting 1/3 inferior culms and control in the stand. We collected the litterfall every month and sorted, weighted, analyzed nutrient contents of samples to understand the litterfall dynamics in different felling intensity treatments of the makino bamboo stand. Results showed the litterfall accumulation of the makino bamboo stand was 7 ton ha^(-1) yr^(-1). Litterfall production decreased with felling intensity increased. However, the second year after different cutting treatments, there was no difference in litterfall production among the different treatments. The month dynamics of litterfall production in the makino bamboo stand during the year were affected by bamboo shoots from May to June. The foliage, branch and sheath litterfall had the same pattern. In the litterfall classification, the bamboo foliage accounted for the highest in the litterfall production, up 40% except the clear cutting treatment. The bamboo sheet and hardwood litterfall was the second one. The hardwood litterfall was the highest (48.4%) in the clear cutting treatment and the second one was bamboo foliage (24.5%). In the other hand, the litterfall nutrient concentrations were no difference among the different treatments. The nutrient concentrations of bamboo sheath in May were higher than in January. The input of litterfall nitrogen was 8.9~18.1 kg ha^(-1) in May and 3.6~4.9 kg ha^(-1) in January.
