外生菌根菌Cryptosporiopsis sp.對臺灣水青岡苗木生長及生理特性之效應

Effects of "Cryptosporiopsis" sp. on Growth and Physiological Characteristics of "Fagus Hayatae" Seedlings

摘要


本研究旨在探討外生菌根菌對臺灣水青岡("Fagus hayatae" Palib. ex Hay., Taiwan beech)幼苗的生長及生理特性之效應。本研究自宜蘭銅山地區之原生臺灣水青岡林木根部分離出外生菌根菌,並接種至無菌之臺灣水青岡幼苗,6個月後觀察外生菌根菌對苗木生長及生理特性之效應。研究結果顯示,分離所得之Fh25菌株經鑑定為"Cryptosporiopsis" sp.;接種"Cryptosporiopsis" sp.菌株之苗木根部具有典型之外生菌根構造-哈替氏網與菌毯,未接種者則無;接種"Cryptosporiopsis" sp.菌株苗木之苗高淨生長量、總乾重、葉綠素含量、及淨光合作用速率,均顯著高於未接種者。本研究證實"Cryptosporiopsis" sp.菌株可以和臺灣水青岡形成外生菌根,並可促進臺灣水青岡苗木之生長及生理特性。

The objective of this study was to examine the effects of ectomycorrhizal fungi on growth and physiological characteristics of "Fagus hayatae" (Taiwan Beech) seedlings. Taiwan beech seedlings were inoculated with the strains of ectomycorrhizal fungus, which was isolated from the field collected roots of Taiwan beech at Tong-shan area in Han county. The effects of ectomycorrhiza on seedling growth and physiological characteristics were investigated 6 months after inoculation. The results showed that the isolated fungal strain Fh25 was identified as "Cryptosporiopsis" sp., which was inoculated onto the roots of Taiwan beech seedlings, and formed typical ectomycorrhizal structures-hartig nets and mantle. The height growth, dry weight, chlorophyll content, and net photosynthetic rate of the inoculated seedlings were significantly higher than the control ones. This study demonstrated that "Cryptosporiopsis" sp. could form ectomycorrhizae with Taiwan beech seed lings, and promote the growth and physiological characteristics of Taiwan beech seedlings.
