本研究分析相思樹(Acacia confusa Merr.)材部4 種黃酮類化合物Melacacidin、4’-O-Methyl-melacacidin、Transilitin及Okanin於樹高3.3 m及6.2 m各部位(內層心材、中層心材、外層心材、移行材與邊材)含量之徑向分布變化。由定量結果得知Melacacidin和4’-O-Methyl-melacacidin為相思樹材部主要抽出成分,Melacacidin於樹高3.3 m之中層心材含量最多,每克材部含有28.4 mg,而4’-O-Methyl-melacacidin則於樹高6.2 m之外層心材含量最多,每克材部含有19.1 mg。整體而言,相較於邊材,4種黃酮類化合物於移行材處大量產生,並由移行材向心材累積。進一步與先前活性研究成果比對,4種化合物總含量與清除DPPH自由基及清除超氧自由基活性皆呈高度正相關。另外,相思樹4種黃酮類化合物之生合成路徑與酵素關係亦於文中探討。
In this study, radial distributions of four bioactive flavonoids in Acacia confusa wood at 3.3 m and 6.2 m above ground level were investigated. Melacacidin and 4’-O-methylmelacacidin were the major compounds present in A. confusa wood. Highest content of melacacidin (28.4 mg/g of wood) was found in the middle part of heartwood at tree height of 3.3 m, while highest content of 4'-O-methyl-melacacidin (19.1 mg/g of wood) was present in outer part of heartwood at tree height of 6.2 m. In addition, quantitative results showed that the contents of melacacidin, 4'-O-methyl-melacacidin, transilitin, and okanin were higher in transition zone than those of in sapwood, and accumulation toward the heartwood. Comparison with our previous results, it revealed that the total amounts of four compounds showed strong positive correlations with DPPH radical and superoxide radical scavenging activities. Meanwhile, the relationships between four compounds analyzed and enzymes involved in biosynthesis pathways were also discussed.
