苗栗火炎山地區植群分類之研究

VEGETATION CLASSIFICATION OF HUOYANSHAN AREA, MIAOLI, TAIWAN

摘要


本研究針對苗栗火炎山地區的植群進行調查,共設置52個10×25 m^2樣區。彙整前人研究與本研究調查記綠之植物資源種類清單,共計109科205屬433種維管束植物;其中,歸化植物約佔10%,裸子植物僅臺灣二葉松1種,蕨類商數為3.9,挺空植物為本區優勢生活型組成。火炎山地區的植物社會依外觀形態可大致區分為森林及灌叢-草本等2類植物社會,後者多分布於變動性大的沖積扇,可區分成田菁型及甜根子草型等2種灌叢-草本植物社會。森林植物社會依群團分析結果可劃分為相思樹型、千年桐型、山黃麻-小梗木薑子型、橢圓葉赤楠-大頭茶型、銀合歡型等5型。森林植物社會的降趨對應分析大致與群團分析結果相近,典型對應分析得知影響森林植群型分布的生育地因子主要為海拔高、坡向及全天光空域。植物社會的物種多樣性分析發現,位於嶺線地區橢圓葉赤楠-大頭茶型的物種多樣性最為豐富,銀合歡型的物種多樣性較其他森林植物社會低。由於研究區受干擾影響大,歸化及入侵植物之管理非常重要。本研究結果可供火炎山自然保留區保育、經營管理,以及科學研究之參考。

A vegetation study provides useful management and research data and is the most basic survey for understanding the composition and structure of the plant community in any area. This study investigated and analyzed the vegetation in the Huoyanshan area of Miaoli, Taiwan. In total, 52 plots were established, and four environmental factors were measured in each plot. Moreover, 433 vascular plant species, including 10% naturalized plants, were recorded in the study area. Only one gymnosperm, Pinus taiwanensis, was observed in the studied area. The pteridophytequotient was 3.9, and the dominant life-form belonged to the phanerophyte community. According to flora physiognomy, vegetation in the Huoyanshan area can be classified into two groups: forest and shrub–grass communities. We performed cluster analysis and classified the shrub–grass community, distributed in the gravel shore, into two types: Sesbania cannabina and Saccharum spontaneum. Five types of forest communities were observed: Acacia confusa, Aleurites montana, Trema orientalis–Litsea hypophaea, Syzygium elliptifolium–Gordonia axillaris, and Leucaena leucocephala. Species diversity was the highest in the Syzygium elliptifolium– Gordonia axillaris community and lowest in the Leucaena leucocephala community. Canonical correspondence analysis revealed that the distribution of forest communities in the study area is mainly determined by elevation, aspect (moisture gradient), and whole light sky. Because of frequent disturbances in the study area, the management of naturalized and invasive plants is highly crucial. The present results provide useful information regarding the conservation, management, and research of the Huoyanshan Nature Reserve Area.
