馬丁氏鱉甲蛞蝓防治在山葵之初探

A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE CONTROL OF PARMARION MARTENSI IN WASABIA JAPONICA

摘要


於2012年2月首次發現馬丁氏鱉甲蛞蝓(又稱馬氏鱉甲蝸牛;Parmarion martensi Simroth)危害烏來信賢苗圃之山葵(Wasabia japonica Matsum.)甚為嚴重。本試驗報告利用阻絕帶、藥劑、精油及植物性資材防治馬丁氏鱉甲蛞蝓之試驗結果。阻絕試驗以水和界面活性劑作為阻絕介質,有八成以上之阻絕效果。以鋅錳乃浦、窄域油和益達胺所進行之藥劑試驗對馬丁氏鱉甲蛞蝓皆無效。精油試驗僅有紅檜、扁柏、文柚和白千層對馬丁氏鱉甲蛞蝓造成部分死亡現象,澳洲茶樹與苦楝精油則沒有效果。植物性資材則用油茶粕、蒔茶粕和咖啡渣進行試驗,其中油茶粕與蒔茶粕會刺激蛞蝓分泌大量黏液,造成馬丁氏鱉甲蛞蝓體液失衡而死亡,平均死亡率達100%;咖啡渣則沒有致死效果。油茶粕與蒔茶粕未來可望取代聚乙醛餌劑作為防治馬丁氏鱉甲蛞蝓方法,並能降低農藥殘留問題。

Slugs were found devouring the foliage of Wasabia japonica Matsum. planted at Xin-xian nursery in February, 2012. The slugs were identified as Parmarion martensi Simroth, and individuals were collected for experiments on the obstruction level of water, surfactant and the lethal effect of pesticides, essential oils and other available natural plant materials. Both water and surfactant showed obstruction effect of higher than 85%. Pesticides including mancozeb, narrow range oil and imidacloprid had no lethal effect on slugs. Essential oils of Taiwan red cypress, Taiwan cypress, pomelo and cajeput tree caused 7-53% of mortality, while essential oils of tea tree and chinaberry had no lethal effect. Natural plant materials such as coffee ground, tea seed pomace (Camellia oleifera and C. sinensis) were used for experiment. Coffee ground had no lethal effect, while tea seed pomace caused body fluid imbalance by excess mucus secretion and resulted in 100% of mortality. The natural tea seed pomace may be a potential method to eradicate slugs, which hopefully can replace the use of chemical pesticides and relieve the concern of pesticides residue problems.
