Typhoons and floods often occur in Taiwan. Therefore, examining the hydrological environments of Taiwan is helpful to the sustainable development and management of Taiwan. The aim of this study was to analyze the hydrological data of Lan Yang Creek, Cho Shui Creek, Kao Ping Creek, and Hua Lien Creek. This study used rating equations to estimate daily average sediment content from the daily mean discharge of Lan Yang Creek, Cho Shui Creek, Kao Ping Creek, and Hua Lien Creek. This study showed the daily mean discharge was greater than 0.03 cms/km^2 for 50% of the study period and daily suspended load was more than 0.64 tons/km^2 for 50% of the study period. The results are expected to help the sustainable development and management of Taiwan.
