臺北植物園八十一年度親子自然教育活動成效評估

Evaluation of the Natural Educational Activities in 1992 at Taipei Botanical Garden

本研究之目的在探討評估八十一年度三次臺北植物園親子自然教育活動,本年度之活動分別於3月15日、4月4日、及5月10日舉行。共计463位學員報名參加,包括家長168人、兒童295人。 活動實施方式以分组由解說員帶領,並運用實物標本解說及學員扮演生態角色之遊戲方式進行。活动實施成效評估以問卷於活動結束時分發學員填寫。經調查結果:家長年齡分佈主要為40-50歲之間(65.48%)、職業屬公教人員較多(63.69%)、兒童以五年級(38.98%)、六年級(25.42%)為主。學員中兒童(52.50%)及家長(42.26%)均曾參加過類似活動。家長之參加動機以“讓孩子接觸自然知識”者最多(94.64%),所有學員對活動整體感覺“滿意”(82.37%),對課程內容覺得“容易瞭解”(77.54%),對解說員之表現覺得“很好”(93.09%),且大部份學員爾後願意再參加類似活動(96.97%)。

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the ”Parent-Kid” natural educational activities provided by Taipei Botanical Garden, the activities have been taken place on March 15, April 4, and May 10 1992. There were 463 participants including 168 adults and 295 hide attending these programs. With each program, the participants were divided iota small groups and every group was guided by an interpreter. Two methods adopted in each program. There were interpretation of physical samples and games conducted by the participants to demonstrate the ecological roles of plants and animals. Questionaires were taken right after the ending of activities. According to the investigations, about 65% of parents' age was between 40 and 50 years old. Sixty four percent of parents' occupation were teacher or civil officers. All the kids were primary school students, and most of them were at fifth grade (39%) and sixth grade (25%). Nearly half of the kids (53%) and parents (42%) had attended other natural educational activities. The motivation for parents to attend such activities was to gain more natural knowledge for their kids (95%). Eighty two percent of the participants were satisfied with the activities. Seventy eight percent of the participants considered the programs were easy to understand. The majority of participants (93%) regard the demostration of interpreters was very good, and were willing to attend such activities again (96%).
