木釘接合之靜曲與拔出強度(一)

摘要


在家具製造上使用木釘接合方式極為普遍,本研究現階段目的在探討木釘直徑、長度、間距、埋入比例(木釘埋入側柱深度/埋入橫檔深度)、嵌合度(榫孔直徑/木釘直徑)及布膠方式對以橡木為構件所組成之雙木釘T型接合的靜曲及拔出強度之影響;結果顯示使用木釘直徑為8mm之木釘接合,其靜曲及拔出強度均小於10及12mm者;若木釘直徑小(8或10mn),則木釘間距以32mm具良好之靜曲強度,否則以48mm最佳;使用木釘直徑為8mm之木釘接合中,靜曲強度隨木釘埋入橫檔之深度增加而遞增,使用其它木釘直徑之木釘接合,則呈現相反趨勢;嵌合度為0.95者具有最佳之靜曲強度,而最佳之拔出強度則出現在嵌合度為1.0者;布膠方式採木釘及榫孔均布之木釘接合,具最大的靜曲強度。後繼關於構件樹種、膠合劑種類、及木釘表面性狀等因子,對木釘接合之靜曲及拔出強度之影響,將陸續發表。

Dowel joints are commonly used in furniture manufacturing. The objectives of this study are investigating effects of dowel diameter, space between dowels, depth ratio (depth of dowel in post/depth of dowel in rail), fittness ratio (diameter of hole/diameter of dowel) and glue spreading methold on bending and withdrawal strengthes of T-shaped, 2-pin dowel joints. Results showed that the joints with 8-mm-diameter dowel had the smallest bending and withdrawal strengthes. Bending strength increased with increasing dowel sparing. However, it increased with decreasing depth ratio for joints with 8-mm-diamoter dowel. Joints with small fittness ratio showed better strength. The best bending strength existed in joints with glue spreaded both in dowels and holes. The effects of component species, glue type, glue spreading method, and fittness ratio on joint strength will be investigated and published in later reports.
