This study was to estimate stormflow hydrographs with triangular unit hydrograph method from 24-hour rainfall frequency data of Pi-lu-chi Experimental Watershed No. 11 by calculating rainfall excess with curve number method of Soil Conservation Service. The estimated peak flows, stormflow volumes and times of concentration from estimating stormflow hydrographs compare reasonably well with observed values. This model only requires input data of daily frequency rainfall, topography, hillslope runoff velosity and curve number. Therefore, this stormflow hydrograph estimation method appears to be rather useful in real world. The important parameters of this model were runoff veolcity on hillslope and curve number. Based on the sensitivity analysis, time of concentration decreased as runoff velocity on hillslope increased, peak flow and stormflow volume increased as curve number increased.
