摘要
近年來由於全球性的不景氣，影響到加拿大經濟的發展。加拿大為能提振經濟與發展國內的資訊技術與服務業，已在著作權、標準及通訊政策上，從事相關的修法與制定的作業。目前加拿大尚未制定一個全面性的國家資訊政策，而1992年12月召開的加拿大國家資訊政策高峰會議，已為加拿大國家資訊政策的研擬邁開一大步。本文將針對加拿大資訊政策的各種問題提出說明與討論。

The global depression of economics has influenced the Canadian economic development. Canadian government has taken great efforts to revise copyright law, to develop standards, and to formulate telecommunication policy, in order to recover from economic depression and prosper Canadian information industry. The National Summit on Information Policy held on December 6-8 in Ottawa is a great achievement in initiating Canadian information policy. This paper attempts to describe and discuss various problems of Canadian information policy.
