臺北市立圖書館志工運用管理之初探

摘要

本文主要是針對臺北市立圖書館進行志工管理的研究。臺北市立圖書館現有1,608名志工，包括一般志工、義務林老師、英語志工、視障服務志工、閱讀推廣志工五種類型。本研究以臺北市立圖書館總館、各分館與民眾閱覽室志工業務管理（承辦）員為對象，於2013年6月進行問卷調查，發放48份問卷、共回收39份。研究結果顯示，志工管理員認為臺北市立圖書館的志工會因為性別、年齡和服務年資的不同，在服務績效與服務結果期待上有所差異。此外，志工管理員最需要的是對志願服務行政作業以及相關法令的認識。

This pilot-study was focused on volunteer management in Metropolitan area-Taipei Public Library (TPL). There are 1,608 volunteers in TPL, including regular volunteers, storytelling volunteers, English-speaking volunteers, volunteers for the visually impaired, and volunteers for the promotion of reading. This study collected 39 questionnaires out of 48 volunteer managers currently work in main library and branches of TPL in June 2013. The results indicated that in managers' opinion, the service performance and expectation of volunteers demonstrated by different gender, age and years of service. In addition, most volunteer managers showed desires for legislation trainings that promote volunteerism and strong needs to learn to computing the dollar value of volunteer time, work for long-range planning and implementation of volunteer recruitment and retention.
