摘要

直腸類癌是一種比較罕見的疾病，而且具有惡化的潛能，其轉移率很低，且產生類癌症狀羣亦極為少見。本院近十年（1970～1979）來在大腸直腸原發癌584例中，直腸類癌僅佔八例，其中一例病灶直徑有3.5公分，且有淋巴轉移，故以腹會陰聯合切除術醫治。其餘七例病灶直徑均小於2公分，且臨床症狀皆不明顯，故都以局部切除和電灼術醫治。此八例都有追蹤檢查半年至九年不等，結果尚稱滿意。

Carcinoid tumors of the rectum continue to interest clinicians because of their rarity and the difficulty in predicting their malignant potentiality. Eight cases of carcinoid tumors of the rectum were seen during the recent ten-years period in TSGH. One patient had a rectal carcinoid of a relatively bigger size with lymph nodes metastasis who was treated with an abdomino-perineal combined resection. Seven cases were seen in the early stage or the tumors were of small size, they were accidently discovered when they developed the symptoms of tenesmus or change of bowel habit. They were treated with local wide excision, or biopsy and cauterization. All cases were followed in our OPD and are alive. The history and course of illness of these cases were presented and the pathogenesis and management of carcinoid tumors of rectum were briefly discussed.
