橫川氏吸虫之兩種新的第二中間宿主－石(魚賓)及粗首鱲之發現
Two New Fish Intermediate Hosts of Metagonimus Yokogawai: Acrosscheilus Formosanus and Zacco Pachycephalus Found in Taipei, Taiwan
摘要
從靠近台北市坪林鄉之河流中收集之兩種淡水魚－石(魚賓)（Acrosscheilus formosanus）及粗首鱲（Zacco pachycephalus）發現有囊狀幼蟲（metacercaria）之感染，經動物實驗證實是橫川氏吸蟲（Metagonimus yokogawai）。囊狀幼蟲在石(魚賓)及粗首鱲之感染率分別為50%及80%。在這兩種魚類之肌肉及鱗片中皆發現有囊狀幼蟲之寄生。由兩種魚之肌肉及鱗片收集之囊狀幼蟲感染沙鼠（Gerbils）結果，顯示其回收率偏低，介於3%－4%之間。本研究為石(魚賓)及粗首鱲可作為橫川氏吸蟲之第二中間宿主的首次報告。

Acrosscheilus formosanus and Zacco pachycephalus collected from the rivers of Ping-Lin county near Taipei city were found infected with metacercaria of Metagonimus yokogawai. This has been confirmed by experimental infection to gerbils. The infection rates of A. formosanus and Z. pachycephaIus were 50% and 80%, respectively. The recovery rate of adult worms from gerbils infected with metacercariae either from scales or muscles was 3 to 4%.This is the first report that A. formosanus and Z. pachycephalus may serve as second intermediate hosts for M. yokogawai.
