摘要


電灼傷之發生率隨著工業之進步逐漸增加,我國已是高度工業化國家,家電用品及高壓電線到處可見,本省又處於亞熱帶地區,颱風季節中常有較多之病例,由於這種傷害有高度危險性,所以值得醫學界同仁多加研究,同時呼籲民衆小心謹慎,以免偶一不慎,遺害終身。本文就三軍總醫院十四年中之電傷病例,做一統計分析,並與美國德州Parkland紀念醫院、美國猶他醫學中心及臺北榮民總醫院所發表之資料相比較,以供參考。

The incidence of electric burn injury has been increasing in recent years in our country due to changes of socio-economic situation, as well as the geographic reason.Seventy three cases of electric burn injury were admitted to our division form July 1, 1969 to June 30, 1983. They were analyzed with respect to incidence, sex ratio, age distribution, burn area, etiology, site of inlet and outlet, management, mortalities, average hospital days and complications.The results were compared with that of Parkland Memorial Hospital in Texas, Utah Medical Center and Taipei Veterans General Hospital respectiviely.
