熱帶性膿肌炎－病例報告
Tropical Pyomyositis: A Case Report
摘要
熱帶性膿肌炎為一種經常伴有膿瘍的細菌性骨骼肌炎。多見於熱帶地區，罕見於溫帶地區。其引起的致病菌常為金黃色葡萄球菌。因臨床症狀類似血腫瘤、骨髓炎、關節炎或闌尾炎膿瘍易被誤診。本文回顧文獻，並報一例十月大幼兒之熱帶性膿肌炎。

Tropical pyomyositis is a disease of skeletal muscle characterized by single or multiple abscesses. The most common infective organism is staphylococcus. Clinically, it mimics many diseases, such as hematoma, osteomyelitis, arthritis, or appendiceal abscess. This report reviews the literature and discusses a case from southern Taiwan.
