A case was reported of constrictive pericarditis and graft occlusion following coronary artery bypass surgery. Constrictive pericarditis following coronary artery bypas graft and resulting in graft occlusion has infrequently been reported. The diagnosis of constrictive pericarditis should be considered when unexplained right-sided heart failure develops after cardiac surgery. A reliable diagnostic test is right and left cardiac catheterization. The treatment should consist of medical treatment and/or pericardectomy.
