Transcatheter Embolization of a Profunda Femoris Pseudoaneurysm Complicating an Intertrochanteric Fracture

The standard management of intertrochanteric fractures is internal fixation with a dynamic hip screw plate. We describe a patient with an intertrochanteric fracture who suffered from an injury to a branch of the profunda femoris artery that required treatment with steel coil embolization.
