全球貿易分析（GTAP）資料庫演進與應用之探討

自1992年普渡大學GTAP（Global Trade Analysis Project）中心研發全球貿易分析模型及資料庫以來，至今已逾10年，歷經這段期間的推廣與應用，已成為全球貿易模型中最受推崇的一員，其在農業、貿易、能源政策模擬的貢獻更是有目共睹，尤其GTAP資料庫中農業部門的資料分類細緻，為一般其他模型所不及，具有相當實用性、不過、由於模型範圍涉及全世界，仍存在可進一步改善之處，若資料庫欲改進更為完備，實應再投入更多時間與努力，因此，就GTAP資料庫使用者而言，應對現今資料庫的運用抱持肯定態度，並以建議代替批判，期望未來GTAP資料庫及模型的發展更臻完備。作者試以實際參與GTAP資料庫有關台灣資料的編製經驗，探討GTAP資料庫的演進與應用，提供相關政策模擬分析時，對於資料庫的特點與限制有更多的瞭解。因此，本文主要內容除探討GTAP資料庫及模型的應用與比較GTAP資料庫演進外，並且針對該資料庫中台灣原始投入產出資料部分的處理過程加以說明。

The paper investigates the history and application of GTAP (Global Trade Analysis and Project) database from version 3 to version 5. Besides to explain the methods and suggestions of processing Taiwan initial inputoutput data by author's experience. This source of the initial input-output table is ”Input-Output Table of Taiwan” from DGBAS (Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics). Finally, study on database version 6 will issue in this summer.
