含銅沃斯回火延性鑄鐵之微結構及腐蝕行為研究

Study on Microstructure and Corrosion Behavior of Austempered Ductile Iron Containing Copper

摘要


沃斯回火延性鑄鐵(Austempered ductile iron, ADI)由於具有特殊的微結構(針狀肥粒鐵與富碳殘留沃斯田鐵之雙制組織)及優異的機械性質(強度、韌性、耐被勞性等),是一種極具工業應用潛力的材料。然而,沃斯回火延性鑄鐵屬於鋼鐵材料,故在應用上仍存有腐蝕問題。本研究目的的主要是利用添加銅元素以增加ADI之硬化能,另一併探討含銅ADI之腐蝕行為,以了解添加銅元素對ADI耐蝕性之影響,並與其對鑄態之效應作一比較。實驗結果顯示:在微結構方面,含銅元素(1wt.%)之延性鑄鐵會增加鑄態波來鐵含量(牛眼組織),亦會影響ADI製程窗,使其富碳殘留沃斯田鐵含量略增;在腐蝕行為方面,含銅鑄態延性鑄鐵及ADI之耐蝕性皆可獲得改善。

Because of the specific microstructures (acicular ferrite and carbon rich retained austenite) and mechanical properties (strength. toughness and fatigue resistance) of austempered ductile iron (ADI) it has great potential in industrial applications. However, ADI still has the corrosion problem because it belongs to ferrous materials. The main purpose or this research is to study the effect of Cu addition on the hardenability, to exp lore the corrosion behaviors of Cu-alloyed ADI, and to compare with the as-cast condition. The results show that by adding 1% Cu could increase the amount of pearlite, also affect the processing window of ADI to slightly increase the amount of C-riched retained austenite. In addition, the corrosion resistance of both copper-alloyed as-cast and ADI were improved.
