本研究主要是以沃斯回火延性鑄鐵(Austempered ductile iron, ADI)為研究對象,利用兩種低溫製程的表面改質方式包括陰極電弧沉積CrN及無電鍍鎳(Electroless nickel, EN)來處理ADI,然後探討ADI材料經此複合鍍膜(CrN/EN)前後之沖蝕及磨耗行為,並與單層EN及CrN鍍膜作一比較。實驗結果顯示ADI經單層及複合鍍膜後皆可降低其摩擦係數,其中又以CrN/EN-ADI複合鍍膜有最低的摩擦係數(0.32);另經濕式沖蝕試驗後亦顯示有單層及複合鍍膜之ADI皆可減少重量損失,其中也以CrN/EN-ADI複合鍍膜者具最佳耐沖蝕性。
In this study, electroless nickel (EN) and cathodic arc depositing CrN technologies, with the known advantage of low processing temperature, were used to treat the austempered ductile iron (ADI) substrates. The erosion and wear behavior of ADI before and after duplex coatings were analyzed, and compared with the monolithic film of EN and CrN. The results showed that the coated specimens could reduce the friction coefficient and have the better erosion resistance as compared 10 the uncoated one. In particular, not only the CrN/EN duplex coated ADI had the lowest friction coefficient (0.32), but showed the best erosion resistance among all the specimens.
