添加飛灰對鋁合金鑄件抗磨耗性之研究

Study on Wear Resistance Properties of Aluminum Alloy Castings with Adding Fly Ashes

摘要


金屬基複合材料技術發展多年,茲因價格昂貴難以普及。本研究以壓鑄鋁合金為基材,飛灰為強化材,利用液固相混和之複合鑄造法成形複合材料鑄件。實驗用JIS規範ADC12壓鑄鋁合金,飛灰經前置處理後,預熱至700℃一段時間後,分別以0 wt%、2 wt%、4 wt%、6 wt%、8wt%及10 wt%不同重量百分比添加至850℃鋁合金熔湯內,再以固定轉速500 rpm之機械式攪拌器,持續攪拌2~8分鐘。攪拌完成後之熔湯直接澆注至預置的模具內成形,進而從成形之鑄件分別從不同位置取樣製作實驗所需之試片,包括密度檢測試片與磨耗試片等。實驗結果顯示添加飛灰之複合材料鑄件的密度隨飛灰比例增加呈線性遞減趨勢,鑄件之抗磨耗性亦隨飛灰材添加比例增加獲得較佳的結果。

A The forming technology of metal matrix composites has been developed for many years, but it is still not popularized due to high running cost. In this study, the aluminum alloy was used as the base metal and the fly ash as the strengthened material. The compocasting method with mixing of liquid base metals and solid reinforced particles was utilized to form composite castings. ADC12 in JIS designation was selected as the base metal. The fly ash being pre-treated and heated up to 700℃ for a specified period was added into the aluminum melt at 850℃with different weight percentage, such as 0wt%, 2wt%, 4wt%, 6wt%, 8wt% and 10wt%, and followed by mechanical stirring for 2~8 minutes with 500 rpm to obtain a well-mixed melt. Then, the mixed melt was directly poured into a pre-prepared mold forming the casting. Finally, the specimen were prepared for the evaluation of certain properties, such as density test and wear resistance test specimen, of the composites with adding fly ash, which were sampled from different locations of the castings. The experimental results revealed that the density of composites was decreased with the increase of fly ash percentage. On the other hand, it showed that the wear resistance of composites was improved as increasing the fly ash percentage.
