本研究探討ADC10Z成份及添加微量元素Sr對於ADC10Z之機械特性分析,並以時效熱處理的方式來提升ADC10Z鋁合金壓鑄件之機械性質,相關參數包括壓鑄件冷卻方式(空冷、水淬)與時效熱處理T5等。實驗主要採用T5人工時效處理,針對代表性之三種合金A1(ADC10Z)、A2(含微量Sr)及A3(含微量Sr且增加Zn含量)進行實驗,並分析比較時效熱處理之效益。實驗結果顯示,ADC10Z壓鑄件經不同冷卻條件後,水淬者於鑄造狀態下之抗拉強度260 MPa優於空冷者254 MPa。水淬條件下之A1、A2及A3壓鑄件經過T5熱處理後,其抗拉強度分別由鑄造狀態之260 MPa、305 MPa及306 MPa提升至298 MPa、343 MPa及347MPa,顯示三種水冷壓鑄件經T5處理後,其抗拉強度可增加38~41 MPa(增幅約為29~32 %)。
A study on improving the mechanical properties of ADC10Z die-casting was carried out by means of minor adjustment in alloy compositions and a special ageing heat treatment. The related die-casting experimental variables of concerns included adjustment in certain alloying elements, the cooling rates (air cool and water quench) and heat treatments (T5) of die-castings. This study utilized T5 heat treatment on selected Al alloys that included A1(ADC10Z), A2 (containing Sr) and A3 (containing Sr and addition Zn). The results show that, the tensile strengths of water-quenched die cast A1, A2 and A3 die-casting parts were found to be increased from the as cast condition of 260, 305 and 306 MPa, respectively, to T5 aged condition of 298, 343 and 347 MPa, respectively. This shows that an increase in tensile strength of 38 to 41 MPa (an increase of 29~32 %) can be achieved through the T5 age treatment in these water quench die-castings.
