Primary Intraosseous Meningioma: A Case Report
原發性骨內腦膜瘤：病例報告
摘要
原發性骨內腦膜瘤是一極罕見的疾病，約佔所有的腦膜瘤的百分之一以下，且通常會和其他原發性的頭顱骨腫瘤混淆。我們提出一位 77 歲的女性患者，其右額頂骨處有一 10.5 × 8.5 公分見方的腫瘤，且和冠狀縫有相連。在最初的鑑別診斷為骨腫瘤之下，我們執行了外科切除，最後的病理報告是原發性骨內腦膜瘤。我們將在文中討論此一罕見病例的致病原因。

Primary intraosseous meningioma of the skull is an uncommon disease. It accounts for 0.5 to 1 percent of all meningiomas and is often confused with primary bone tumor of the skull. We report a case of a 77-year-old Taiwanese women with a rare primary intraosseous meningioma. The tumor was located in the right frontoparietal region, involving the coronal suture. The tumor was excised completely. The final pathological diagnosis determined that the tumor was a meningioma. Several cases reported in the past literature are reviewed and the possible pathogenesis of the tumor is discussed.
