Melorheostosis: A Case Report and a Review of the Literature
長骨紋狀硬化：一病例報告及文獻回顧
摘要
本院於1973年發明一個此病的成人病例。本例的主要症狀是左小腿酸痛和此小腿出現兩個硬塊及漸向前彎曲。X光發現左側脛骨皮質呈流蠟狀的骨增生，骨髓腔內骨質呈波浪狀增生。病理切片發現濃厚的骨皮質增生合併有不規則的骨薄片。因為是罕見病例，特提出報告並檢討文獻。

An adult male case of melorheostosis is described. Pain, two bulging masses and deformity of his left lower leg are the main clinical manifestations. The roentgenograms of his left lower leg show irregular linear hyperostosis with a “dripping candle” appearance along the cortex of left tibia, internal hyperostosis in the medullary canal of left tibia with a wavy pattern, and anterior bowing o left tibia. The pathology shows excessively dense, thickened cortex with an irregular lamellar pattern.
