Dysplasia Epiphysealis Hemimelica-Three Cases Report-
偏肢性骨骺端發育不良症三例以單側膝外翻表現之病例報告
摘要
偏肢性骨骺端發育不良症是罕見的骨發育異常。其特點是在四肢骨骺端發生不正常的軟骨增生，也同會有骨化現象，形成關節附近硬塊畸形。好發在單側肢骨骺的內側面，以下肢膝、踝處最常見，膝內側增生會產生單側膝外翻。本報告提出三例以單側膝外翻表現之病例，診斷為偏肢性骨骺端發育不良症。其中一例主為踝內側腫大有外翻畸形，併有輕度單側肢外翻。此症因極罕見而不易被診斷。單側膝外翻可以強烈暗示有偏肢性骨骺端發育不良症的可能，再加上放射線診斷及病理組織切片予確定。治療以手術切除為主，早期發現和治療，預後良好。

Dysplasia epiphysealis hemimelica (DEH) is a rare abnormality of epiphysial growth. The frequent sites of involvement are the medial epiphyses of the talus, carpus and the distal femoral condyles. Three cases having pictures of unilateral genu valgum were diagnosed as DEH. All were confirmed by roentegenography and histopathology. Palliative excision relieved the symptom and corrected the valgus deformity. Clinical suspicion of such disorder is the clue to reach the definite diagnosis and the proper treatment.
