附三角骨位於距骨之後外側節，是脚部的附屬骨之一，出現於百分之七的正常人中。不論是否骨折，它有時可造成足踝疼痛，尤其是在常常需要脚踝用力蹠面彎屈的運動員及舞者。我們報告十三個病人的十四隻症足，平均年齡二十一點六歲，其中四位是舞者，六位是運動員；全部都是慢性病例，症狀期由壹個月至十年，均接受手術切除及復健，經過一年七個月的追蹤，其結果非常令人滿意。

The os trigonum is an accessory bone of the foot, locates at the posterolateral tubercle of the talus, and occures in about 7% of population. It can occasionally cause pain of the ankle, either fracture or not, especially in the dancers and sportsmen with activities of forceful plantar flexion of the ankle. We report 14 ankles in 13 patients of symptomatic os trigonum. All were young, with the average age of 21.6 years. Among them, four were dancers, two basketball players, two footballers, one baseball players and one high jumper. They were all chronic cases with the duration of symptoms from one month to ten years. All received surgical excision and rehabilitation. The follow up period was one year and seven months, and the results are very satisfactory.
